Thea Cowie, Head of Strategy: Thea’s very first interview as a TV journalist, fresh out of uni, was with Mark “Chopper” Read. She’s also travelled to Iraq and talked her way into a maximum-security Bulgarian prison cell for ABC Radio.
Thea has been locked up herself numerous times for the handing down of the Federal Budget, a punishment she’d wish upon no one.
David Barbeler, Founder: always up to mischief. While documenting a shipwreck hunt with world-renowned wreck hunter David Mearns, he was almost thrown in the brig for squid-jigging off the side of the ship with navy cadets at 2am.
As a journalist David toured with the Wallabies, documented murder trials and, bloodier still, covered the knifing of three Prime Ministers from the Federal Press Gallery.
